More Photos from the Salton Sea (area) n Painted Rock, AZ.  3/15/15

A cloud(s) in the sky!  About as overcast as it got in the Salton Sea area

Cormorants, nesting on a deserted island in the middle of a lake nature refuge.

A rather dense area to nest on, communal nesting.  I wonder if they ever sit on their neighbors nest by accident.

Yes, a white colored pelican is called a, guess what?  A White Pelican.  So when the pelican spots a fish worth diving for, it lines up the sight on beak with the fish in the water and then, bombs away.  I'm teasing.  I have no idea what that protrusion on his beak is.  Maybe it's a sexiness symbol.  lol

A Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula), letting out a "Crackle."

Imperial Dunes in Southeast CA.   An OHV recreation area.  Like Pismo Beach times 100.

The "Big" Dipper.  Photographed at the Painted Rock area, AZ

Orion's Belt.

No leaves!  Leaves lose water so instead of leaves, everything is green, producing all the Solar nutrients needed to sustain life and to grow.

A native son and a macro view.

Where Pineapples come from.

PF (Pretty Flowers)

A Saguaro Forest., West of Tucson in area close by Saguaro National Park.

A desert bird.

A desert critter. (duh)
