A undulating sea of  Juvenile Sea Lions, basking in the warmth of the morning sun, Ano Nuevo State Park South of Pescadero, CA, Hwy 1.

Curiously, these beasts like to shower themselves with sand, then some more sand.  These guys really know how to play in the sand.

Anybody like to loan this guy a shaving kit?

Fungi, on a hike 11/01, Limekiln Trail, Lexington Reservoir, Los Gatos

My neighbor was complaining that reception was "poor."  I wonder why?
Perhaps because of a juvenile Red Tailed Hawk?  Opp's, way off on this one, Lets try Peregrine Falcon instead.  Probably a juvenile also.
