September 17 through September 19, 2010: For starters, a soiree on Friday, September 17, 7 to 10 P.M. at the Del Webb Arbor Lodge in Elk Grove, gratis with snacks. The Lodge is appropriately located in a retirement center at 9985 Westminster Way; South of Elk Grove Blvd. and East of Bruceville Rd. On Saturday, the main soiree is at the Valley High Country Club just north of Elk Grove Blvd. on Franklin Blvd. If you are in a witness protection program you will want to avoid this one. Lots of cameras, lots of people who will recognise you. Starts early for those of you who have to leave early for your evening nap. Come at 5:00 for the reception and professional sittings for photographs. Are you afraid you wont recognise anybody? Then find a committee member and have them point out a friendly classmate (as if their were any unfriendlies) to you. From 7 O’clock to 8 O’clock, a delicious buffet dinner (featuring SPAM, of course.) Just teasing about the Spam, of course. After dinner, dance and converse your way around 50's and 60's music till 10:00 when the geriatric band goes home. All of this fun for a measly $40. Thats only 14 cents per minute. Did you miss that chance to kiss the 1960 Homecoming Queen or the Captain of the football team on Saturday night? Did you have to get to bed before finishing dinner? Then come to the Sunday Brunch as the Soiree winds down for the last day of festivities. This event starts at ten in the morning to allow time for all the cows to be milked, featuring a free Continental Brunch for all classmates and guests. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bib) to the Del Webb Arbor Lodge and make sure
you remember
to take your pills. Speaking of Committee Members? If you have an idea, correction or want to help, contact .
